TEMPESTA, Antonio
Antonio Tempesta, also known as il Tempestino (1555–1630), was an Italian painter and engraver whose work bridged the worlds of Baroque Rome and Flemish culture in Antwerp. His oeuvre is dominated by depictions of major battles and historical figures.
